Dynamatic Ltd UK is the largest hydraulic gear pump manufacturer in the UK, based in Swindon they trace their history back to the original gear pumps manufactured by Plessey in the same factory, the basic concept of which was copied by almost every other European manufacturer and still forms the basis of most external aluminium gear pumps manufactured today.

Sundstrand bought the business from Plessey creating Sundstrand Hydratec which manufactured an enormous range of non standard gear pumps principally
for the Agricultural and civil engineering plant Industries. These
pumps are found on tractors and other bits of machinery the world over.

Sundstrand then merged with Sauer to become Sauer Sundstrand and then with Danfoss to become Sauer Danfoss who then sold the business unit to Dynamatic of India who have been developing the fan drive motors and controls as well as building on the long legacy of unique pumps manufactured for specific applications over the years.
