The Borg-Warner Corporation formed in 1928 with the merging of Borg & Beck, Warner Gear, Marvel-Schebler, and Mechanics Universal Joint. From the start, it was anchored by expertise and innovation in various automotive products, including chains, spark plugs, and transmissions. The company and its subsidiaries paved a clear path for innovation in manual and automatic transmission systems; by the early 1990s, its automotive division became a separate company, but in addition to BorgWarner hydraulic components, the company has achieved milestones in the combustion, electric, and hybrid vehicle market.  The hydraulic division was sold to Rexroth becoming Rexroth USA and the gear pump range made obsolete.

By 2017, it had become a leader in propulsions systems for all types of vehicles, including electric, hybrid, and combustion. It was awarded a contract by two major Chinese manufacturers in 2018 for a module that enables hybrid and pure electric driving with the use of hydraulic control modules, an S-wind electric motor, and integrated clutching. BorgWarner won a 2018 PACE Award for the S-wind wire forming process, which enables the mass production of smaller, more powerful high-voltage electric motors. The company has also received recognition for its commitment to environmental sustainability.

White House Products is a Bosch Rexroth distributor but as many of the Borg Warner gear pumps are no longer made and are not directly replaced by any of the Bosch Rexroth pump matches, we supply the Borg Warner range with other alternatives.  Many of these replacements are made by White House Products at our Port Glasgow site in order to directly the match the original.
