Sumiju Precision Forging Co., Ltd. was formed in 2000 after separating from Sumitomo Heavy Industries, Ltd., a business that was launched as a mining machinery production and repair shop in 1888.  Sumiju’s casting and forging expertise can be traced back to 1939.  Today, it is a supplier of heavy-duty precision forgings used in jet engine and turbine blades.

It acquired the Nihon Spindle fluid power business and later sold it on to the Eaton corporation from whom it had a licence to manufacture orbital steering units and motors..
 

Sumiju Pumps


White House Products Ltd for a number of years sold the Nihon Spindle / Sumiju / Eaton (Japan) range of pumps whilst they were available.  In recent years with many of the pumps being declared as OEM specials or obsolete we  have been manufacturing replacement units.  Used largely on forklifts and other equipment, these include aluminium-bodied pumps with features such as spline shafts, SAE and non SAE split flange ports, flow control and relief valves.  Products in different configurations are available, as are seal kits with hydraulic pump parts for specific units.  To find a hydraulic gear pump that meets the  requirements of your application, check our catalogue for the latest available products.
