Komatsu Zenoah previously Vickers Zenoah hydraulic components, including heavy-duty gear pumps and parts.  A still well recognized brand even after the company’s hydraulics division merged with Komatsu Forklifts in 2007.   Until 2011, it was named Komatsu Utility Co Ltd., but that year this entity was merged with the parent company.  Although Komatsu Zenoah hydraulic pumps, parts, and equipment are included and distributed under  this umbrella, customers can still find new gear pump models and replacements for their specific applications through independent aftermarket outlets

Hydraulic gear pumps move fluid through a hydraulic system using two or more rotating gears with interlocking teeth.  A drive shaft rotates, turning the drive gear, which meshes with the secondary gear forcing it to also rotate.  Internal gear pumps featuring a gear inside a gear,  or external gear pump utilising side-by-side intermeshed gears.  Hydraulic gear pumps provide a precise fixed displacement output so the flow rate can be increased or decreased as needed by changing the speed of rotation.
