White House Products Ltd. is proud to supply gear pumps from Hitachi Construction Machinery, a worldwide organization headquartered in Japan.  Hitachi Construction Machinery bought the Zexel pump manufacturing business, formerly Diesel Kiki, who manufactured gear pumps under licence from Robert Bosch of Germany.  Hitachi was founded in 1910 with the development of a 5 hp induction motor and began production of pump turbines in the 1950s.  Its 6,500 kW Kaplan water turbine was completed in 1951, while a 21,000 kW two-stage pump-turbine was completed in 1952.  Hitachi has also been building washing machines, computers, aircraft engines, and optical transmission systems for decades, and is at the forefront of technological innovation.
