4.1 Payment may be made in cash, cheque, bank transfer or credit / debit card.
4.2 To avoid delay and extra expense; payment by bank transfer must, unless otherwise agreed, be made in the currency of the invoice to the correct bank account for that currency.
4.3 If it has been agreed that a bank transfer payment can be made in a different currency to that of the invoice then it must be done using the Company exchange rate applicable for the week of payment and the funds remitted to the correct bank account for the currency being remitted.
4.4 Details taken to allow credit & debit card payments to be done manually by the Company’s staff will be securely shredded or otherwise destroyed on completion of the payment process.
4.5 Payments made by credit & debit cards on our websites are handled by a payment provider appointed by the Company.
4.6 The Company does not have access or hold any of the credit or debit card details used in the payment process.
4.7 As a registered user of the Company’s websites it is possible to save credit or debit card details for future use. These details are held on a secure server by the payment provider and not by the Company. The Company’s websites hold a ‘token’ which identifies to the payment provider the card saved against the registered user. At the point of paying for an order the relevant token or tokens held will, at checkout, bring up the card details saved. On selection of the one being used to pay for the order the purchaser will be asked to input the CVV number (last 3 digits on the reverse of the card) as this information is not held on the secure server.
4.8 At no time are saved card details visible to any of the Company’s staff or anybody on the administration side of the Company’s websites. The Company is not liable for any data loss resulting from any form of hacking or security breach of the payment provider’s secure server. The ability to save cards for use on the Company’s websites is offered by the payment provider for convenience and at the cardholder’s risk.
